Campaign Story

Dionisis-Rafail is a 2.5-month-old baby, who suffers from a congenital heart defect. When he was born, he was immediately intubated and transferred to the NICU, where after a series of tests, he was diagnosed with complex congenital heart defect. His case is extremely rare, since so far there are only 3 reported cases in the medical literature.

Dionisis-Rafail is being currently hospitalized in the NICU, on mechanical ventilation, while according to the pediatric cardiologists who monitor his condition, he must be immediately subjected to surgery, since any delay could lead to heart failure. Following the doctor’s recommendation, the surgery will be performed in a private clinic abroad, by a team of specialized pediatric heart surgeons.

Unfortunately, Dionisis-Rafail’s family doesn’t have the means to cope with the unbearable cost of their baby’s surgery and hospitalization.

Baby boy Dionisis-Rafail has been fighting for his life ever since he came into this world and he needs us by his side. Let us all join forces and offer this little hero, a second chance in life!
